Our Goal

The Eastern Shore is a bit of a hike from the large metropolitan centers across the Bay Bridge; making it difficult for local engineers to attend Baltimore based events. Because of this, the Eastern Shore Branch was founded in Fall 2009 with the goal of bringing together those engineers throughout the Delmarva region for networking opportunities, education, professional advancement and community outreach; building a strong relationship between government, private and community sectors.

What We Provide

Professional Development

Learning never stops and with our various site tours, presentations, guest speakers and PDH events; you can stay on top of industry changes and keep adding to your engineering bag of tricks.

Networking

Lets face it...The Eastern Shore isn't a metropolitan juggernaut. We have wide open spaces and we move at different paces. Luckily, the ESB brings together people from the bay to the ocean and everywhere in between; building a dialogue with your fellow Engineers and industry partners.

Community Outreach

Part of our responsibility as Engineers is to provide for our community. That doesn't have to stop with the completion of your last big project. The ESB works to educate the community and, in particular, students in the area about engineering. By volunteering at science fairs, judging robotics competitions and talking to kids in the classroom, we help grow the next great engineer.
